Consumer demand for pork is expected to increase in the New Year, following the launch of the third phase of BPEX’s national advertising and PR campaign to drive awareness of the health and nutritional benefits of pork.
As in previous campaigns, the advertising reinforces the message that lean pork, which contains only 4% fat, is a healthy option. To help highlight this message at the point-of-sale, BPEX has produced a new ‘healthy pork’ promotional kit for you to display in your shop.
The kit includes posters featuring eye-catching visuals, a vinyl to place in your shop window to attract passing trade and recipe leaflets to distribute to your customers featuring four delicious healthy eating recipes, including: Cajun Pork Fillet, Pork Fajita Wraps, Tikka Pork Chop and Pork Chop with Apricot Chutney.
'Many of your customers will be thinking about eating more healthily after the Christmas holidays, so this point-of-sale kit was developed to help you promote the health benefits of lean pork during this period,' says BPEX project manager, Claire Holland.
'Plus, with recipe leaflets designed to inspire, make sure you distribute them to your customers with some of your own hints and tips to add that personal touch and boost your pork sales!'
